Wilma Jean (Harris) Miller, 78
Wilma Jean (Harris) Miller went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
She was born on October 9, 1943, at St. Anne’s Hospital in Anaconda to William George and Patricia Hazel Lenore (Mundy) Harris.
Jean began her life with just her mother as her dad was off to war defending our great country.
She was raised in a humble home at the foot of Warm Springs Creek in Washoe Park. She attended Washington Elementary School, AJHS, AHS (the Class of 1961) and Butte Business School.
She met the love of her life, Erman West Miller, while working at the Warm Springs State Hospital. They were married on February 14,1969 and were inseparable for almost 53 years.
When Jean was not working at the Family Resource Center, she spent her time taking pictures, scrapbooking, gardening, taking rides, decorating for every holiday, watching Hallmark movies and faithfully attending church almost every week.
She was a quiet and shy soul, but was a woman of great strength, integrity and character. She was very gifted and did many things ‘behind the scenes’, which she preferred, but these things made lasting impressions and would be missed if they were not done. She loved blessing people with her generosity in many different ways and she touched many hearts by doing so. Her greatest attribute was she loved Jesus Christ with all her heart and her life reflected that. One of her last wishes was that her family would ‘Keep the Faith’ and her family will do so to honor her legacy.
As a mother she worried more times than she should have about her children but that is just part of being a good mom. As a grandmother she showed her grandchildren and great grandchildren love that they will always cherish and never forget.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Erman West Miller, her children Zachary Scott Miller, Gina Elizabeth Miller and Tabitha Lorraine (Miller) Utz, her grandchildren Jenesis Jalene Jordan (Miller) Allick, Haneda Izumi Miller and Johannah Nancy Jean Utz, her beautiful and precious great grandchildren Aurora Marie Irene Jean Allick and Christopher Leland Roher and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
No services will be held.
