Valeria Elvera (Blaskovich) Bleile January 8, 1932 – July 12, 2021
Valeria Elvera Bleile, 89, passed away peacefully at Kadlec Medical Center, Richland, WA early Monday morning, July 12, 2021, of extended illness.
Valeria was born January 8, 1932, in Anaconda, MT to Mirko and Rose Blaskovich. She attended first through twelfth grades at St. Peter’s Catholic School, graduating in 1949. Valeria married Adam Phillip Bleile, May 6, 1950, at St. Peter’s Church in Anaconda.
Valeria took an active interest in cooking and many types of needle work, however, music was her deepest enjoyment. Her talent for the piano and accordion was exceptional.
Valeria spent the greater part of her life in her birth town of Anaconda. In 1962 Valeria, Adam and their four daughters moved to Richland, WA where Adam worked at the Hanford Atomic Energy plant. After four years they returned to Anaconda. Valeria, again called Richland home as she moved in 2018 to live with her daughter Karen. Her last ten months, she resided at Brookdale Assisted Living in Richland.
Valeria was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband and daughter Barbara.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen (George) Duffield of West Richland, WA, Gloria (Ray) Nelson, Opportunity, MT and Deborah (James) Fifield of Luxemburg, WI; son-in-law Aaron Kitchel, Gillette, WY; grandchildren, William Duffield, Kennewick WA, Stephanie Grimshaw, West Richland, WA, Jason Nelson, Reno, NV, Adam and Christina Kitchel, Gillette, WY and Dennis Wyant, Luxemburg, WI; five great grandchildren, Billy, Ben, Blake and Boden Duffield Kennewick, WA and Abbie Grimshaw, West Richland, WA.
Services will be held in Anaconda, MT as follows: Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 12 o’clock noon at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow Mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
