Steven Reiger Obituary
Steven "Steve" James Reiger, was born on February 27, 1964, in Devils Lake, North Dakota. He was raised in the Opportunity/Lost Creek area. After serving 8 years in the United States Navy and living his life, he came back to his home in Lost Creek in 2004.
Steve will be remembered as a wonderful husband, loving dad, papa, true son, "super son-in-law", kind brother, fun uncle, genuine friend, good man, and a gentle soul.
Steve leaves wife, Andine and her family, Mom-Catherine Satterlee (Earl Keeney), son, Travis Graham, daughters, Katlin VanMeel (Devin Tonkin), Megan Rediske, and grandchildren Luke and Mia Davis, and Blake Johnson. Brother Don (Karla) Davis and family. He also leaves behind his beautiful pup Annie. Steve's family includes, loving sons, Steven, and granddaughter Kaytlynn, Justin and grandson Treyton, Eric and granddaughters Kinley and Kiley and beautiful daughter, Breanna Reiger; Mother, Irene Fuller, brother Dale (Laura) Schafer, sisters Julie Ward and Debbie Skavhaug, brothers, Gary and Greg Reiger, and Schafer siblings, nieces, Melissa (Matt), Melina (Corey, Alysha, Kyler, Owen), and numerous other family members. Dearest adoptive parents - Bob and Gay McKane, and Cy and Masako Stewart. Endeared friends - Pat Kellegher, Sam Davies, Kathy and Shyla Ressler and his Job Corp family.
Preceding Steve in death includes, Michael Reiger Sr. and Jr., step-father Edward Schafer, step-son Jeremy David and friend Farrel Ressler.
Steve had an amiable nature and a genuine heart. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and wonderful memories made with family and friends. In later years, he developed a passion for riding in the wind on his Harley. "May you catch that bull elk." "We will Always & Forever Love You!"
There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the V.F.W. Club of Anaconda.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Pintler Suicide Awareness and Prevention, PO Box 487, Anaconda, MT 59711.
