Ronald H. “Ronnie” Johnson, Jr., 43 of Anaconda, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at St. James Hospital in Butte.
Ronnie was born on August 23, 1977, to Ronald H. and Linda M. Johnson and was the oldest of three children. He attended schools in Anaconda, graduating from Anaconda High School in 1996.
In his youth, Ronnie was actively involved in 4-H with his siblings raising and showing livestock. He participated in baseball, Special Olympics, and loved helping out on the family ranch. He enjoyed doing chores, especially taking strings off bales when feeding the cows, stacking firewood, and raking the lawn.
Despite many obstacles throughout his lifetime due to Epilepsy, Ronnie never let it stop him from participating in all the many activities that he enjoyed. He thoroughly enjoyed singing and listening to music, playing his guitar, collecting hats, bowling, dancing, fishing, and watching airplanes. Most of all, Ronnie was a social butterfly and loved visiting and laughing with people. He could be spotted a mile away with his bright smile and huge dimples and could always be found flirting with the girls. If he was having a rough day, it could be easily brightened with a trip to McDonalds.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Linda M. Johnson; brother Steven Johnson, sister Julia (Kevin) Goroski; and niece and nephew, Hailey and Kody Goroski; and many friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ronald H. Johnson, Sr.
A graveside service was held Friday, July 2, 2021 at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
