I'm sorry old chaps, I had to leave,
My life has been filled with much joy -
3 wonderful boys, 4 marvelous wives,
accomplishments and dreams of a boy.
Born to hard workers, my mother and dad,
My brothers were mischievous,
the adventures they had.
Irish and Danish roots from my clan of kin,
I was proud from where I came.
