Randol "Randy" Robert Dean, 64 of Anaconda passed away on November 17, 2020 at his residence in Opportunity. Randy was born in Heidelberg Germany on October 31, 1956 to Robert and Barbara (Pearson) Dean.
Randy was raised in Livingston, Mt. graduating from Park High in 1976. Randy worked in various careers throughout his life starting from his very first employment at John's IGA and concluding with his favorite job in the sporting goods at Murdoch's. (Oh, how the man loved his guns!)
Randy was a faithful Volunteer Firefighter for the Opportunity Fire Department where he passionately served his community for 15 years standing along his fellow firefighters who he always considered to be his brothers.
Randy moved to Anaconda in 1988 where he met Annette "AJ" Jolynn Sbragia. On September 9, 1990, Randy and AJ married in Rexburg, Id., blessing 12 years of marriage. AJ had a beautiful daughter Amerlyn, who Randy adopted and raised as his own. Together as a family, they enjoyed spending time camping in various beautiful camping areas and enjoyed time spent at their cabin in Clear Creek.
After AJ's passing in March of 2003, Randy moved to Opportunity, Mt. where he met the love of his life Edna. They were married June 16, 2006. Randy was welcomed and loved deeply by Edna's 3 daughters and their families. Randy and Edna loved spending most of their time in the mountains exploring backroads with family and friends, camping in the beautiful mountains of Montana but above most, spending time with their beautifully blended family.
Randy had many friendships during his time on earth being labelled as the kindest, hardest working man around. He was the most loving father, husband, grandfather and friend, already extremely missed by all. People flocked to Randy for friendship and guidance and he returned it with genuine love, acceptance, and kindness.
Randy is proceeded in death by his father Robert and late wife AJ.
