Patricia "Pat" Cecilia Vauthier

Patricia C. Vauthier, age 91, of Anaconda, MT. went to join her heavenly family on the morning of March 21, 2023 in Anaconda Community Hospital. 

Patricia was born September 8, 1931 to Neal and Wilda Sturdevant in Gage, MT.  They lived in Roundup, Mt. for a while then moved to a small cabin in Warm Springs, MT.  The family worked in the Big Hole valley for some wealthy people every summer.  She had many good stories and memories of those days.  She went to first grade in the Warm Springs school.  They then moved to Opportunity, MT and ran a chicken farm that sold eggs to the local grocery stores. She attended Beaver Dam School until 6th grade then rode the bus to town and finished her education in Anaconda.  She worked in Warm Springs Hospital, then worked as a custodian for the Anaconda School system. 

Patricia married Marcel Vauthier and raised five boys, and has 11 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was a super Mother and loved her family.  She loved going to Butte every Saturday, to go shopping with her sister Jean. They would stop at the thrift stores and garage sales. She also enjoyed walking with her friends. She loved good food and cooking for her large family and relatives, especially on holidays. 

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marcel, sisters Jean Powers and Lucille (Bill Vauthier), and brother Merril. She is survived by her five sons Gary, Roger (Cathie), Tim (Sandy), Bill (Kristie) and Bob (Brent);  sister Nancy Ellis (Barney); brother in-law Jack Powers and also her 11 grandkids, and 18 great grandkids.

Cremation has taken place and the family will be having a private celebration of life for her this summer according to her final wishes.  She will be deeply missed.
