Michael "Mick" Fuller Obituary

Michael John Fuller passed away peacefully in Lewistown, MT on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Nicknamed “Mick” or in his later years, affectionately referred to as Uncle Buck—after the movie! Mick was born June 9, 1955, the eldest of four boys.

Mick grew up in Anaconda and graduated from Anaconda Central in 1973.

Mick married Darcy Dulaney and they were blessed with two daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Wright and Kimberly (Justin White) Fuller.  Darcy and Mick later divorced.  Mick then married Rene in 1999. Mick worked as an ironworker and as a guard at Montana State Prison.

Mick is survived by his wife Rene, his two daughters and their spouses, his grandchildren Austin Higgins, Kairi Wright, Ashtyn Higgins and Xander White, brothers and sisters in law Kevin and Janet Fuller, Ken and Jackie Fuller, and Editha Fuller, nieces and nephews Colin (Lacey) Fuller, Colin (Kerianne) Fuller, Joe Fuller, Teah Fuller, Kennah Fuller and Norma Fuller.

Mick was predeceased by his parents Francis “Mick” and Lois Fuller and brother Laurie Duane Fuller.

Mick was a diehard 49ers fan and true friend.  Mick enjoyed many things in his younger years, but nothing surpassed his love of spending time at the family cabin at Georgetown Lake!

The Measure of a Man

The measure of a man is not determined by his show of outward strength or the volume of his voice or the thunder of his actions or of his intellect or academic abilities. It is rather in terms of the love that he has for his family and for everyone, the strength of his commitments, the genuineness of his friendships, the sincerity of his purpose, the quiet courage of his convictions, the fun, laughter, joy and happiness he gives to his family and to others, his love of life, his patience and his honesty and his contentment with what he has.   (Grady Poulard)

Mick’s remains will be cremated, and his brothers are planning a summer service at the Outdoor Chapel at Georgetown Lake.  Mick’s ashes will be spread on the family’s property at Old Georgetown.

Rest easy, Mick and GO 49ers!
