Kieran Johnson Obituary

On Wednesday July 28th Kieran Anne Johnson sadly departed this world. Kieran was born in Anaconda MT on July 7, 1950, to Lucille Siegle and Albert Kratz. In her youth Kieran loved baseball, playing with friends and family, baton, and having adventures. She was a fun-loving child full of humor and mischief. She spent most her childhood with Gov and May Walsh until they died when Kieran was 12 years old. At that time, she moved to Claremont CA (with Nona and Ed Lord) until she graduated from high school in 1968.

In 1972, Kieran had her first child (Kellee) and in 1976 she graduated from MSU in Bozeman with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Kieran and the love of her life, Terrance Kris Johnson, were married on December 27th, 1975, three months after they met. No one could have anticipated the amount of love they would eventually have for each other.... a love story for the books! It was instant and would grow and flourish for the following 46 years. Shortly thereafter they had two more children (Joseph and Nicole). In 1981 the young family moved to Elko NV where Kieran became the Director of Nursing for home health. Later they moved to Helena MT where Kieran was the Director of Nursing at Hospice where she touched many lives. In 1993, the family moved again, this time to Kent, WA. While in the Seattle area Kieran acted as the Director of Nursing at several nursing homes. She approached her career like her life; overflowing with enthusiasm, vigor and an unquenchable desire to succeed. She always approached people with dignity and respect and maintaining exceptional quality and care was very important to her professionally. In 1996 Kieran unfortunately experienced a tooth extraction causing a heart infection ending an impressive and professional nursing career. This transition was incredibly challenging for Kieran and Terry, but together they fought and built a new life together.

In 2000, Terry and Kieran relocated to their hometown of Anaconda, MT, where she spent 21 more years bringing joy, humor and love to her family and friends. In Anaconda, Kieran volunteered at the Historical Society, gave time and financial assistance to several local organizations, and occasionally liked to play the machines. Most often though, Kieran could be found spending time with her children, grandchildren, and husband. She liked arts and crafts, specifically drawing and painting. She truly made the world a more beautiful place.

Kieran is preceded in death by her parents Lucille and Oscar Siegle, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Terrance Kris Johnson.; daughter, Kellee.; son, Joseph (Tiffany).; daughter, Nicole.; Her grandchildren, Cody, Jesse (Desiree), Ashlynn, Blake, Natalie, Mia, Margalo, Lily, and Ethan. Kieran was a beautiful soul that touched many lives and vice-versa. We welcome her friends and family to pay their respects. Services will be held on Monday, August 2nd, at 10:30 am, at the Holy Family Church in Anaconda, MT. with a luncheon to follow (graveside service with be held in the future).
