Jaci lived a full, fun life. Serving, feeding, looking over and looking after everyone who came into her life. Jaci dedicated herself to helping others. Unfortunately, Jaci lost her battle with COVID-19 on Sept. 13th. Jaci was born Jacqueline Marie Brosseau on November 18, 1969, in Oak Harbor, Washington. Jaci was the 2nd of 4 Children to Deborah Hinman and Jack Brosseau. Growing up, Jaci wanted to be a GOGO dancer or a Truck driver but ultimately, she wanted to be a mother.
Heaven got a blessing and we lost one of the best, most selfless, loving, giving and genuine people we’ve ever known. On March 11, 1998, she married the love of her life, Michael Krecklow. He made her smile like a crescent moon lighting up the night. Her happiness and it was cut all too short when he had a heart attack passed away just 17 days after their wedding.
Jaci’s proudest accomplishment was raising Stormi as a single mother, and she did an amazing job teaching her how to become the incredible person she is. After Stormi was grown she adopted her “favorite” resident at the group home where she worked. She quit her job to bring Serena into our lives. Jaci raised Stormi in Vancouver, Washington until she was old enough to venture out on her own.
Jaci liked to play, she was the life and the laughter everywhere she went. Jaci loved games, but she was always playing whether there was a game or not. She had the most infectious laughter; her deep belly laugh would make a stranger laugh from across the room. Jaci loved her people until the end, she was texting and writing us daily, telling jokes and making the best of her tragic situation.
Jaci is survived by her daughters Stormi and Serena, her parents Jack and Bonnie, siblings Nann, Steve, Janet and Jeff, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. She may be gone, but her memory will last for the rest of our lives.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at The Forge in the Sapphire Room. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the services.
