Ian Scott Glidewell
On the evening of April 1st, 2025, Ian passed away at his home in Missoula, Montana. He was 30 years old. Ian was born on April 24th, 1994 at University Hospital in Las Vegas Nevada to father, Scott Glidewell and mother, Michelle Glidewell.
He attended school in Missoula, MT. He called Missoula his home and enjoyed living there with his cat, Miss Kitty.
He enjoyed having game night with his best friends Jared, Dylan, Jordan and Noel. He loved reading books, and hanging out with his parents, Scott and Terri, at their home in the country. He had a great experience zip-lining.
He is survived by his father, Scott, and bonus mom, Terri who live in Anaconda, as well as his mother, Michelle Glidewell of Las Vegas.
He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Gabrielle and Travis Huerta of Butte, and his brother Jeff Sierra of Butte. Also in Butte are his aunt and uncle Matt and Jasmine Montez. Later in life Ian was lucky to add to his family his bonus brothers and sisters, Chris Klucas of Billings, Jeremy and Jenny Walks of Clarkston WA, and Montana and Tyler Anzik of Butte.
Of his Las Vegas family he is survived by his grandparents Martha and Jose Alvarado, Papa Felix, his loving uncle and aunt, Danny and Sandra Felix, aunt Cindy Montez, and uncle Robert Mananares Sr. In Missoula, his uncle and aunt, Justin and Bethany Anderson will miss him dearly. Ian also had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins across the country.
Ian was preceded in death by his grandparents Melvyn and Clara Glidewell, his uncles David and Chris Glidewell, aunt Terri Lanahan, grandpa Niche, and cousin Robert "Robbie" Mananares.
We would like to extend a special thank you to Jared, Dylan, Jordan and Noel for showing up when we needed you. We would also like to thank one of our oldest friends Rick Walters for all the help you have given us.
Ian's Celebration of Life will be held in Missoula at a date to be determined.
