George Richardson was born in November 1931 in Hayes, Kansas to George and Albertina. They had five children. He is survived by his brother Al and sister Ann. The family moved to Colorado Springs during the dustbowl era and eventually moved to the Denver area. George was an alter boy for many years and volunteered his time before and after school. He was in the Navy during the Korean War, afterwards he became a printer and worked at Smith Brooks, Catholic Register Limousine Journal for the next twenty-five years. He met Betty...his first wife. They had three children. Mike, Julie and Rob.
He met Vina in Ft. Collins, CO. They married in 1974. They lived in northern Colorado for years until they moved north to Montana. They settled in Drummond, Montana 30 years ago and loved every moment of their lives in the community. He was the state brand inspector for 40 years. He was a member of the Kiwanis and VFW. He has six grandchildren, eight great grand children. George and Vina have been married 46 wonderful years full of love and amazing memories. George was loved by all. We will miss him and his positive spirit and sense of community. God Bless him and his memory.
Mass of Christian Burial for George Richardson, 89, of Drummond, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Drummond. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the services at the church.
Interment will be held at the Valley Cemetery with Military Honors.
