Florentine (Blanco) Moyer

Florentina (Blanco) Moyer, 90, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at her home in Anaconda. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. open to the public. Her private burial service will be on June 20, 2022, at 1 p.m. in Deer Lodge at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Tina was born June 20, 1931, in Sherman, Texas to Ascension D. Blanco and Juanita S. Sabala. Tina met Lawrence Moyer in Texas while he was stationed in the Air Force. They began their life together in the 1950s in Deer Lodge, Montana. They married on Nov. 27, 1957. They had nine children together, 32 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was to welcome all the new babies to the family. Her eyes would light up as soon as she scooped them up in her embrace. She was a homemaker her entire life, even chasing the great grandbabies in her late 80s. She always enjoyed family gathering and sipping on some afternoon coffee.

She is survived by her children, Andrew and (spouse Dana Moyer) of Helena, Linda Durkin of Libby, Glenda Allen of Anaconda, Kenneth Moyer of Missoula, Clifford Austin of Wisconsin, Wanda and (spouse Tim Smith) of Anaconda, Patty Moyer and (spouse Mark) of Anaconda, Laura Moyer of Anaconda. Grandchildren, Kenny, Travis, Chris, Joseph, Katrina, Aaron, Sue, Sarah, Christopher, Felicia, Samantha, Jennica, Dacoma, DJ, David, Kevin, Travis, Crystal, Rachel, Sam, Joseph, Tiffany, Jimmy, Teal, Tyler, Jade, Bobby, Marissa, and Crystal. Great-grandchildren total of 46.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Moyer, her parents Ascension and Juanita, her grandchildren Carol Outten, Serena Crowe, Eric Vankirk, Michael Bentcik.
