William "Bill" Samuel Butler

January 25, 1954 — April 19, 2021

Philipsburg

William Samuel Butler, passed in his home in Anaconda on Monday, April 19, 2021.  Bill was born in Anaconda on January 25, 1954 to Densmore “Tex” Bessie Butler.  Bill was a beloved father and friend.  He had the biggest heart and wouldn’t hesitate to help those he loved.

Bill loved anything to do with the outdoors and enjoying the company of family and friends.  He had a love of carpentry and building things for others to enjoy.  He had an infectious laugh that never failed to warm the hearts of those around him.  He always tried to make sure all the “pretty ladies” were taken care of.  He had a special place in his heart for all kids and always tried to make them happy.  He was the best Easter Bunny ever!

Bill is survived by his children, Billy (Gerri) Butler, Marilyn Butler and Kristen Butler and grandchildren, Madison and Norah Butler and Daryl Jax Butler and by the mother of his children, Jodi Butler.  He is also survived by his brothers, Bob Butler, Buster Butler and Bryan Butler.  He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved just too many to name.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Bud, Ben, Betty and Louise.
