Wayne Louis Lucier

May 6, 1935 — July 24, 2014

Wayne Louis Lucier, beloved Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa, peacefully left this life on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Wayne was born on May 6, 1935, in Anaconda, MT to Grace Marion (Nelson) Lucier and Louis Henry Lucier. He graduated from AHS, and was a lifetime Anaconda resident. Wayne married Loretta Marie (Smith) on July 17, 1956, in Anaconda. Their loving, happy marriage was an inspiration to all of their friends and family. Wayne worked as a machinist in many places, including the foundry and "on the hill" for many years. In 1979, he purchased Thermal Save Construction. He worked hard as a home improvement contractor, and enjoyed helping others. Wayne was a dedicated tradesman who took great pride in all he did. He enjoyed life and spending time with friends and family, sharing good meals, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his sisters Onalee (Lucier) McNaughton, & Arlene (Lucier) Beausoliel and his children; Paul Lucier, Mary Michele (Lucier) Petrovich, (Mike Petrovich), and Kevin Lucier (Tanya McGuire Lucier); grandchildren; Stanie Gratzer, Vincent and Michael Lucier, Rhyan Coleman, Danielle and Kenneth Petrovich, Russell and Alicia Lucier; great-grandchildren; Aubrey and Emma Lucier. He is also survived by in-laws Harriet and John Starkey, and Raymond Smith; and too many favorite nieces and nephews to name. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Loretta; parents, Grace and Louis; infant son, Lawrence Wayne; son, Kenneth; brothers-in-law, Vincent Smith, Richard McNaughton, and Ronnie Beausoliel; and sister-in-law, Helen Anne Smith. He was a kind, generous man with a great sense of humor - he will be missed greatly by his family and friends. We love you, Wayne. Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated Friday, August 1, 2014, 12:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the services. Please consider a memorial in lieu of flowers to the Anaconda Sportsman's Association.
