Virginia Lee Sladich

Virginia Lee (Morrow) Sladich, 87, of Anaconda, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Community Nursing Home of Anaconda. She was born on December 9, 1927 in Butte, MT to Raymond and Elizabeth Morrow. She attended Butte schools and graduated from Girls Central High School in 1945. Virginia married John J. Sladich on April 23, 1956. She worked at Mountain Bell Telephone and retired in 1983 after 37 years of service. John and Virginia enjoyed traveling together. After John's passing on June 19, 1997, her granddaughter Danelle became her travel partner. One of Virginia's greatest passions was shopping (shoes mostly) and this was passed down to her daughter and granddaughter. Virginia is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Frank) Parrow of Butte, granddaughter Danelle (Kristoffer) Adams of Anaconda, and great grandchildren Kherington Jey and Kaenan Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and her sisters Darlene Antonich and Aundre Craig. Also, a very special thank you to Joe and Marian Strelnik, your visits and sweet treats will never be forgotten. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to a charity of the donor's choice. Celebration of Life Services will be held at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the services.
