Thomas Raymond White
May 5, 1942 — November 25, 2016
Tom was born May 5, 1942 in Mapleton, Iowa to Raymond and Louise White. He moved to Anaconda in 1956 with his parents and remained there the rest of his life. He passed away November 25, 2016 from Alzheimer's.
Tom graduated from Anaconda High School in 1961 and received his teaching degree from Western Montana College. He taught elementary school in Anaconda, retiring in 2004. He was an assistant coach in girls' and boys' basketball. At one time, he also coached swimming, served as President of the Montana AAU and was an Anaconda Police Commissioner.
Upon retirement, Tom golfed, fished, did a little 4-wheeling and roamed the mountains with his buddies Johnny and Jiggs. He was always interested in history - Montana and his family's.
Tom is survived by his wife Bev; sons Larry (Shannon), Ron (Tina), Shawn, and Dave (Anna); grandchildren Matthew, Breanna, Karsyn and Travis; sisters Colleen (Doug) Hopple and Cora Seizer.
