Sandra Fay (Ronning) Knievel

August 6, 1942 — February 3, 2022

Philipsburg

Sandra "Sandy" Knievel was born August 6th, 1942 in Whitehall, MT. She married her husband, Kurt Knievel in 1960 and the two of them raised their children, Scott and Karissa, in Wisdom before eventually settling in Philipsburg in 1982 where they have resided since. This coming year, Kurt and Sandy would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

Sandy lived her life by a simple motto, "I know no strangers", which led to her being known and loved by many residents of Philipsburg. Anyone who knew her could tell you Sandy wanted nothing more than to spread and share laughter with anyone in her near vicinity. Her positivity, brightness, and infectious laughter will never be forgotten. Sandy is survived by her two children Scott and Kari; her five grandchildren, Stuart, Jason, Krisie, Jordan, Melody, Joseph and Alexander; her brother and sister in-law, Terry and Benne; four great-grandkids, as well as many friends and other relatives.

There will be an open-door celebration of Sandy's life for whomever wants to attend February 27th at 1pm located at the Granite County Museum.
