Rose Marie Jones

June 13, 1923 — August 30, 2015

Rose Marie Jones passed this life on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Adult Care Home of Magnolia Gardens, Vancouver, WA. Rose was born along with her twin sister, Violet in Anaconda, MT on June 13, 1923 to Russell and Rose Martha Jones. Rose was a great teacher of training horses and loved her border collies, cats, calves, colts and many other animals. Blessed to have shared her life with her Dad and Mother, her brother, Russell J. Jones (Casey) on the Russell Jones Ranch, west of Anaconda, MT. This is also where she raised her twin sister's three children; Joseph Struznik, Anaconda, MT. Rosemary Loeb, Portland, OR and John Struznik, DesMoines, IA., after Vioilet's passing in 1956. Rose will be remembered dearly for her faith, strength, joy, positive disposition, and compassion. Rose loved to look up to Mount Haggin and sing beautiful religious songs alongside her Mother. She loved playing her piano and she played the violin with her twin sister, Violet in her youth. Rose loved to walk with her best friend, Helen Meyer to the upper Ranch where the wild roses grew alongside the road. Words cannot describe the warm and giving heart of Rose. She welcomed everyone into the Ranch home with her famous iron skillet omelets, waffles, pasties, and mincemeat pies and many more homemade goodies. Rose moved to Hearthstone Care Facility in 2001, Anaconda, MT. Then Rose moved to Vancouver, WA with her brother, Stanley and wife, Pauline Jones in 2011. She moved to Magnolia Gardens care facility in Vancouver, WA until her passing. With gratitude and many thanks for those who saw her through her journey in life, especially Joseph Struznik (nephew), Stanley Jones (brother), and Pauline (spouse). Phyllis Woirhay (niece), Rosemary Loeb (niece), and Tom (spouse). John Struznik (nephew), Sandy (spouse), Mark Hagerman (nephew), Lisa (spouse).Wayne Jarvi (son to Rosemary Loeb), Marjorie Jones (Abraham Jones spouse), Mike Jones (nephew), Nancy Jones (niece).
