Ricky Joe Bearden

Ricky died on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at home with his loved ones in Anaconda at the age of 57. He was born July 18, 1956 in Besmer, Alabama to Donald and Mary (Miller) Bearden. Ricky was raised in Butte and spent time living in California, Missoula, and Billings before settling in Anaconda with his companion of 22 years, Debra Hood. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and driving. He worked various construction jobs throughout his life. Ricky was loved by all his many friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving companion Debra Hood of Anaconda, his son Shawn Bearden of Huntley, Montana, daughter Rebecca Rice of Acworth, Georgia, step-children Becky and Josh Abraham of Butte, nephew Joshua Bearden of Anaconda, brothers Don Bearden of Helena and Johnathan Bearden of Missoula, sister; Terrie Popovich of Helena, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date.
