Ralph Reiss

Ralph (Rafe) Reiss, 88 Was born in New England, ND on March 22, 1926 to John and Magdalena Reiss. He had numerous siblings. He served in the army during World War II spending much of his time in Japan. After the war he came to Anaconda to work at the Smelter as a machinist. In Anaconda he met and Married Dolores Mahle on June 1, 1948 at St Peters church. He built a home in the West Valley for his family of three boys. He enjoyed Montana and hunting, fishing and camping. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, sister; Betty and son Tom. He is survived by brothers; Nick Reiss, Frank Reiss, daughter in law Helen Reiss, son; Dennis and daughter in law Michelle Reiss, son; Phil and daughter in law Margy Reiss, granddaughter; Erin and husband David Dobrinen and great grandsons Dean and Evan Dobrinen. Visitation will be held from 9am to11 am with Memorial Services following at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home. Interment will follow with military honors at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
