Paul Donald Mollica

Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 16, 1957 Paul passed away in Montana on August 3, 2026. He is survived by his sister Donna Mollica of Modena, NY.

He lived in San Francisco for many years and his relationship to the Grateful Dead community was important to him throughout his life. The greatest joy of his life was music. He was talented and dedicated to that music, taking great joy in writing, playing and performing, with a large body of music in his Pyramid to Mars portfolio. The two most significant music communities for him were in Fairport, New York with his F.O.L.C.F.E.S.T. (Family of Light Circle For Eternity Strung Together) friends, and his time in Montana, especially his wonderful efforts in bringing live music to the Hangin Art Gallery in Arlee. He valued the friendships he made through music and the inspiration of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead.

A celebration of life for Paul will be held later this year in New York.
