Paul Gustaf Brunell

Paul Gustaf Brunell passed away on July 15, 2013, at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. Paul was born on September 28, 1963. He was the youngest of five boys. Paul lived all of his life in Anaconda, graduating in 1981 from Anaconda High School. He started working at Warm Springs State Hospital in 1983until 2010. Paul loved hunting, fishing and camping. He especially loved the time he spent at Sportman's Campground with his daughter Maggie. Paul married Connie Girard on April 13, 1985, they later divorced. During that marriage they were blessed with their daughter Maggie. Paul would often say that she was the best thing that ever happened in his life. Paul was preceded in death by his brother Geno and his parents Bob and Jean Brunell. Paul is survived by his daughter Maggie, his three brothers Bob, Gary (Diane), and Terry, all of Anaconda, his four nieces Nancy, of Butte, Jamie, Jessie and Jeanna, and his best and closest friend Rocky Vail. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Rite of Committal will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
