Patricia Lou Skakles

On January 23 the angels came and took a beautiful life to heaven. The skies were much brighter, but our hearts were so much heavier.

Patty Grinolds was born in Butte, Montana on August 24, 1951, to Jack and Darlene Grinolds. The third child of six Judy, Sandy, Patty, Johnny, Dan and Dale. She loved her siblings, especially her day-to-day talks with Sandy.

But most of all she loved her two children, Duane and Chelle. Added to that her beautiful grandkids Amanda, Alexis, Justine, and Austin. Her beautiful great-grand kids Eliana, Amara, Madison, and Gunnar. To add to that Rachel, Ella and Kaziah, plus Amanda’s husband Francisco and Justine’s husband Bryce.

Patty loved life, fun, the outdoors (sun) and hard work. If she ever told you she loved you she meant it. She spoke and lived the truth. She was simple and beautiful. She would say to all of you, “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile cause it happened.”

Patty is preceded in death by her mom and dad, grammas and grampa’s. Her mothers and fathers in law, brother-in-law Greg Skakles and precious Rachel Calder.

Patty is survived by her husband Kiki Skakles, her daughter Chelle and family, her son Duane, Kansis and Brier, daughter-in-law Terrie Pyeatt, her sisters Sandy James and family, Judy Petritz and family, brothers Johnny and Derinda and Family, Dan and Family, Dale and Mary Caroll and family, sister and brother and law Cookie and Ron Johnson & Family, Nancy Skakles and family, Edie Cartwright, adopted family Diane Salle and family, John Price and family, and our great neighbors and friends.

Dance with the angels, our precious one. There will be no services with private burials No gifts just hug your loved ones. Thanks for all the great care she received at the Anaconda Community Hospital by all.
