Norbert "Norb" Joseph Weber

Norbert Joseph Weber Jr, age 91, of Anaconda, Montana passed away on June 20, 2026 after a long illness in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on August 19, 1934 in Olean, New York to Mable Swanson and Norbert Joseph Weber, Sr.

Norbert attended St. Mary of the Angels School, and graduated from Olean High School in 1953. Norbert worked for the Bell System in both New York and Montana, retiring in 1987 after over 30 years of service. After retirement he worked as a gun smith for 15 years first in Missoula, Montana and then Philipsburg, Montana.

Norbert married Yvonne Pearl Weldy on June 25, 1955. Together they raised four children in Olean, New York until they relocated to Montana in 1976.

Norbert served as Sergeant First Class in the National Guard for 11 years. He was an active outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and boating. As an avid and talented bowler most of his life, Norbert scored two sanctioned 300 games as well as an 800 series.

Norbert is survived, missed and loved by his wife and children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Ann.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home in Anaconda, MT on August 19, 2026 from 4-6 pm.
