Monte J. Bridgewater

Monte J Bridgewater, age 63 left this world to be with the angels on September 5th, 2019 with his wife by his side. Monte was born in Anaconda on January 30, 1956 to Jack and Peggy Bridgewater and was raised in Opportunity and Anaconda. When his mother died in 1968, he went to live with his Aunt Alice Charney in the west valley and was embraced by the whole Charney family. Monte wasn't a soft-spoken man, but he could be. He had a heart of gold and if you were his friend, he made sure you knew it. He loved riding his motorcycle, hunting with friends, telling a good story (mostly true) and spoiling his dogs Brutus and Koda. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Melinda, his son Monte Jay (Lindy) and two grandsons Maverick and Bearett of California; nephews Tristan, Skylar, Jerry, and Rory; nieces Satari, Jenny, and Cory; numerous aunts and cousins; bruddas Tom (Tiona), Mark, and Matt; Michael and many friends too numerous to mention them all. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; his beloved daughter Maggie, her mother Dawn; and great friend Tom Weaver. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at Hope Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 12th at 5:00pm. Memorials may be made to Pintler Pets or the charity of your choice.
