Mary Blanche Irwin

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Irwin on March 25, 2025, at the age of 78. Mary was born on December 14, 1946 in Hartford, Connecticut., to Santo and Blanche (LaTulipe) Gulino. Mary graduated from East Catholic High School in Manchester CT. in 1965. Mary met the love of her life and beloved husband, David Irwin in 1989.  She was widowed in 2008 after 20 years of marriage. Mary was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and community. Mary worked for many years in accounts receivable at Wells Fargo before retiring in 2008. After retiring, she worked as a Senior companion here in Anaconda and then did Volunteer work at the Senior center from 2019 thru March of 2024. Mary was a devout Christian. Mary is survived by: sister Blanch (Gulino) Cushman and husband Ross Cushman, brother Santo Gulino, brother Joe Gulino, son Scott Hollingsworth and daughter Theresa (Hollingsworth) Abrantes. son-in-law Rick Abrantes and grandchildren Nathan Abrantes, Makenzie Abrantes, and Makayla Abrantes, Rebecca Leivas and Trevor Leivas. Visitation with refreshments will be held at Longfellow Finigan Riddle Funeral Home at 107 Oak Street, Anaconda Montana from 10 AM to 12 PM on April 2th 2025 for those who wish to stop by and pay their respect.
