Marvelee "Muggs" J. Holmlund

Marvelee "Muggs" Holmlund, 75 of Anaconda passed away on Saturday Dec. 7, 2013 at the home she was born in, of natural causes, with her friend Richard by her side. She was born on June 7, 1938, to Olin and June Miller at the family home. She attended Anaconda schools graduating from Anaconda High. On September 27, 1959, she married Gordon "Jerry" Holmlund. Together they had three children. Muggs worked several jobs in the community; Orville's Grocery, Avon, Circle K, Warm Springs State Hospital, and the JFK Bar. She loved to hunt, spend time on the "Ugh Tub" with her family and friends. She also had a big heart for animals and always had room for any needing a home. She also enjoyed her time as a member of the Women's Club. She is survived by her daughters Melanie (Greg) Budd, Jerrie Anne Holmlund of Anaconda and Son Michael (Julie) Holmlund of Conifer, CO. Grandchildren Brad and Derick Budd, and Jakob Holmlund. Brother Floyd "Butch" Miller and sister-in-laws Lynn Lahren and Alice Miller, and special friend Richard Johnson. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jerry, Mother and Father and brother Gene Miller. Per her request there will not be a formal service; the family requests you join them with stories and memories at her daughters' home 1048 North Cable Road, Anaconda at 2:00 pm Saturday December 14th. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Pintler Pets, or the charity of your choice.
