Mark Arthur Kline, age 69, passed away on November 3rd, 2024, in Anaconda, MT. He was born on February 19th, 1955, to Alice and George Kline. At the age of 17, he married his longtime best friend and love, Patty Kline. This was the beginning of a beautiful 50-year union that not only stood the test of time but was a true love that everyone around them witnessed over the years.
He was a incredible man who loved to prioritize others. First and foremost, he was a family man, followed very closely by storyteller. Mark was known for his quick wit, always ready with a clever response—a trait he passed on to his family. Mark though, was the epitome of how great and unselfish it is to put those in your family first. Mark lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: watching wrestling and football, collecting all sorts of knickknacks & photos, playing shuffleboard, chatting with family and friends, and of course, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He loved sharing memories of when his family owned Kline Bingo on the north side of town. You could always find him and his siblings calling out the bingo numbers.
He is survived by his beloved wife Patty Kline, his sister Debbie Motland her husband Norman, his sister Cindy Welch, her husband Mike, and their children: Crystal & Shane, Jeff, Mark Jr., and Joshua. He leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many cousins, nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, George and Alice Kline, and his brother, Kelly Kline.
A celebration of Mark's life will take place at 100 Missouri Avenue, Deer Lodge, MT 59722, on November 17th at 2 p.m, followed by a luncheon. Please wear purple in his honor. Mark’s memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
