Marie A. Connors

Marie A. Connors was called home by our heavenly Father on June 14, 2017 at Georgetown Lake, 5 months and 6 days prior to her 100th birthday. Marie lived in Tucson, Arizona with her daughter Mary Ellen for the past 24 years. Marie was born on November 20, 1917 to John "Jack" Crowley and Mary Agnes Crowley. She married Patrick J. "Red Pat" Connors on March 8, 1941. Together they had six children Sheila Hardy, Texas, Karen Allen, Missouri, John "Jack" and Laura, Arizona, Patrick and Joy, Anaconda, Mary Ellen Connors, Arizona and Joseph "Joe" and Janice, California. She had 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Marie worked at J. C. Penny's, Joe Sullivan's Paint Store, Credit Union, Dr. Tuchscherer and at 7-Eleven. She volunteered at St. Joseph's School while her children were young. Marie's biggest accomplishment however she considered her 6 children. Marie enjoyed playing Bridge, watching game shows and especially playing Bingo. Marie was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, brother John R. Crowley and sisters Rita and Noan. Sons-in-law James Hardy, Teddy Allen and grandson Patrick J. Hardy. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with a mass celebration of her life at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017. The family requests that contributions be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or to Pintler Pets, PO Box 1204, Anaconda, MT 59711.
