Margaret "Peggy" Guiberson

Margaret “Peggy” Guiberson, affectionately known to many as “Nana,” passed away on August 8, 2026, surrounded by her immediate family at her bedside.

Peggy was born on June 23, 1957, in Anaconda, Montana, to Michael and Margie Frankovich. She was raised in Anaconda and graduated from Anaconda Senior High School in 1975. On November 6, 1976, she married Ray Guiberson, beginning a life together centered on family and countless shared memories.

Peggy continued her education at Montana Tech’s College of Technology in Butte, Montana, where she graduated with honors. She was employed with Montana Tech College of Technology before later accepting a position at Anaconda Senior High School, where she worked as an administrative assistant from 1997 through 2000.

In 2000, Peggy relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she began working with the College of Southern Nevada International Center. She remained there throughout the rest of her career and continued her work until her passing.

Peggy spent her life looking out for others and making sure no one around her went without. Her kindness and generosity were simply part of who she was. In keeping with that generous spirit, Peggy chose to become an organ donor at the time of her passing—one final way of helping others.

Above all else, Peggy’s greatest joy was her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world. Christmas held a particularly special place in her heart, especially Christmas Eve at Nana’s house. She enjoyed shuffleboard, karaoke, movie nights with the grandkids, shopping and getting her nails done with her granddaughters, making homemade pizza, and gathering everyone together for Sunday dinners at Nana’s. Some of her happiest moments were also the simplest…sitting together over a cup of coffee, visiting, laughing, and sharing stories. Peggy’s door was always open, and if you stopped by, you were always welcome. She made sure no one went without.

Peggy was a devoted mother to her four children: Jamie and her wife, Adriana, and their daughter, Alexis, and great-granddaughters, Isabella and Liliana; Dan and his wife, Jackie, and their children, Dillon and Izzy; Joe and his children, Tyler, Angel, Nathan, and Zoey; and Mike and his daughter, Madilyn.

The Martin family also held a very special place in Peggy’s heart. Patricia and Robert “Pete” Martin welcomed Peggy into their family when she was young, and their children, John, Jim, Julie, Jennifer, and Jolynn, became family to her in every way that mattered. Peggy shared an especially close bond with Jim and his children, Miranda and Gavin.

Peggy also treasured her circle of special friends, including Jeannie “Queenie” Klima, Rex and Jerry Borden, and Tammy Sedminik, whose friendship brought laughter, strength, and companionship throughout her life.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Jeannie Buhl; Betsy Pahut and her husband, Larry; Joe Hidalgo and his wife, Lorna; Michele Bolkovatz and her husband, Rich; and Melissa O’Dell and her husband, Mike; along with numerous other family members and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Margie Frankovich; her stepmother, Nita Frankovich; her sister, Sandy Jovanovich; her beloved granddaughter, Angel Guiberson; and her dear lifelong friends, Patricia and Robert “Pete” Martin.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held in June 2027 in Anaconda, Montana. Additional details will be shared with family and friends.
