Lucille Theresa Lewis Massey passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula. She was born on September 28, 1931 in Anaconda to Phillip Bud and Estella Lewis. She attended local schools and graduated from Anaconda High School in 1949. She married Edward Massey on March 22, 1952 in Anaconda and together they raised their five children.
Lucille worked at Warm Springs, Galen and the school district. Mom and Dad ran a grocery store on West 3rd and ran Bill's News on Main Street.
She was a member of the Assembly of God, the BPO Elks No 239, the Eagles, and Senior Center. She was an avid bowler and loved camping with her kids and grandkids.
Lucille is survived by her daughters; Bette Ann (Bill) Colvin of Idaho Falls, Mary Kae Massey of Anaconda, Brenda Mahan of Missoula, and Marjorie (Ron) Ewart of Missoula. Sister-in-Law JoAnn Lewis of Butte, Daughter-in-Law Tawney Massey of Billings, her grandchildren; Lori (Ryan) Smith of Idaho Falls, Kyle (Lesley) Colvin of London, England, Brandon (Ashley) Colvin of Idaho Falls, T.J. Massey, Jessica (Erin) Polk and Melinda (Brent) Riemersma, Amanda Massey, Brent and Trevor Mahan of Missoula, Tyler Downard of Missoula, Brianna, Kayleigh, and Kolten Ewart of Missoula, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ed, her brother Rod Lewis, her son Tim Massey, her grandchild Rosie Pat Massey, two great grandchildren Jaxon Smith and Izaya Massey.
Visitation will be held at Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2015 with the Funeral Service starting at 3:00p.m. Graveside Services will follow at New Hill Cemetery.
