Lisa Ann Vidrine

January 15, 1979 — October 25, 2025

Anaconda, MT

Lisa Ann Vidrine was born on January 15th, 1979 in Orange, Texas, to Calvin & Mary Vidrine. Lisa was the fourth of six children, joining Mary, Calvin Jr. & Mae. Shortly after John & Leslie came along. We can only assume that she burst into this world with the excitement and joy that she brought to the rest of those that knew her throughout her too short of a life. She made her way, with her immediate family to Montana, attending school at Wigans Elementary School in Livingston and later to the Butte/Anaconda area where she was soon welcomed into an AWARE group home during high school.

Lisa graduated from Butte High School in June of 1998, and much to the appreciation of her AWARE family, continued to live her life among her friends and family within our homes and day programs. As an adult, in 1998, Lisa settled at the Bubash group home in Anaconda, where she lived out the remainder of her life.

Lisa’s smile was always the bright spot in a dark room, never failing, and always ever-present. Lisa never had a complaint, not even when she should. Lisa’s sense of humor was infectious, and she loved to joke around. She enjoyed participating in travel and Special Olympics in her younger years. She always took the time to enjoy the little things and loved life’s simple pleasures. Though always a bit anxious to see what may come next, Lisa taught us to take the time to color the world the way we want it, always pink, and always with a crown, as she loved princesses the most. She loved country music, her magazines, and her makeup and taught us all to make sure to take the time to look our best and, be ourselves.

Lisa was the embodiment of all the best the world has to offer. Lisa was innocent, loving, joyful and kind. All that knew Lisa were truly privileged to know her. Lisa will be remembered for the way that she lived and the impact that she had on the lives of those that had the pleasure to have known her.

Lisa is survived by her many friends and all of her AWARE family.

All that knew Lisa were friends by the time the meeting ended, however brief it may have been. She had a profound impact on those around her, and to know her was to love her, and for that we are eternally grateful. Special thanks to the AWARE staff, Knute Oaas, and Whitley Roberts for their special care and love in the best of times and worst of times.

The Celebration of Life to honor the life of Lisa Ann Vidrine will be held on November 10th, 2025, at 10:30a.m. at the Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home with a luncheon to follow at the AWARE Day Program.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to AWARE Best Day Ever Funds. These funds will go toward ensuring that other individuals within AWARE are able to experience their very own versions of the ‘Best Day Ever’.

Although Lisa’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her shy smile and fighting spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. Her memory will continue to be a blessing. We will work to carry forth the legacy of love, happiness, and joy, in her memory, in all that we do. Fly high, enjoy your wings, I hope they are pink, but I am sure they are as beautiful as you. Enjoy this next dance and keep singing and dancing and know that you were greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Longfellow Finnegan Riddle was honored to care for Lisa and her family.
