Linda Ann Lombardi

July 25, 1935 — November 18, 2013

Linda Ann Atiyeh Lombardi passed away on Nov. 18, 2013, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Alpine, Utah, surrounded by her family. She was born July 25, 1935, in Butte, the daughter of Saleem Tomi Atiyeh and Alice Sylvia Khoury Atiyeh. She married Arthur (Art) Louis Lombardi on March 27, 1956; they later divorced. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Richard, and grandson, Jeremy Seitzinger. Art and Linda had four children, oldest to youngest, Christine, Art, Alice and Samantha. Survivors are daughter, Christine (Brian) Seitzinger of Alpine, Utah, and grandchildren Jaime Ostler; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Brennon, Kaleb and Isabella Ostler, Justin and Shae Seitzinger, Spanish Fork, Utah.; great-great-grandchildren, Boeden, Traeke and Riggden Seitzinger, Jeremy Seitzinger (deceased) and Aaron and Rachel Seitzinger, Ogden, Utah, and Jennifer and Clifford Lum, Las Vegas, and Ace Lum. Son, Art (Kathy) Lombardi, of Butte, and grandson, Derek Lombardi. Daughter, Alice (Craig) Dobler of Kirkland, Wash.; great-grandchildren, Max, Jake and Samantha Dobler, and daughter Samantha and Will Schneider of New York, N.Y. Also, sister-in-law, Delores (Dee) Atiyeh Wilson, Butte; nephew, Cory (Marlene) Atiyeh, Yuma, Ariz.; great-nephew, Sam Atiyeh; niece, Marcy Atiyeh (Mike) Kent, Columbus; great-nephews, Chase and Hunter Kent, Halli Atiyeh (Mike) Perala, and grand-nieces, Hannah and Emily Perala, Anaconda; sisters-in-law, Margret Bellandi, Anaconda, and Cecelia Lombardi, Butte; and great friend and companion, Tom Walt, Anaconda. She grew up in Butte, and graduated from Butte Central High. She raised her four children in Anaconda. Linda worked as assistant manager at Safeway in Anaconda until she retired. She was an exceptionally hard worker and gave many dedicated years of service to the store. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and at her cabin at Georgetown Lake. The Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 217 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Anaconda, with luncheon afterwards. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Butte.
