Leland (Beetle) H. Page Jr.
Leland "Beetle" H. Page Jr., 78, of Philipsburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 24, at Granite County Medical Center.
Lee was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Butte, MT, to Leland "Popeye" H. Page Sr. and Dorothy "Dolly" M. Emerson Page. He was raised and educated in Philipsburg. On Sept. 14, 1959, Lee enlisted in the Air Force until Sept. 13, 1963. He married Lynne Seymour, Aug. 28, 1965, and had two children, Lee "Tiger" and Lynette.
Lee was a boilermaker by trade and welder at heart. During his career, he worked for the Anaconda Co., many sawmills in and out of Montana, helped build and was a millwright at the Contact Mill in Philipsburg. For the past 12 years, Lee enjoyed being the Maywood Ridge ranch manager in Maxville. Lee loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
He is survived by wife, Lynne; son Lee (grandchildren - Levi, Michael, and Shiloh); daughter and son-in-law, Lynette and Craig Ronzone. He is also survived by his sister, Gaye Gottlieb, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darryl Seymour and Marcia Seymour, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Dawn Huffman, his brothers-in-law, Dr. Mike Gottlieb, Gary Seymour, and Robert Seymour.
The memorial for Lee is to be determined at a later date.
