Josephine "Eddie Jo" Edwina Peterson

Josephine "Eddie Jo" Peterson Josephine was born on April 19, 1937- Born to Harold Edward Weist and Alta Marie Ostenson Weist in Anaconda, MT. She went to school in Deer Lodge and later moved to Anaconda where she graduated from Anaconda Central High School in 1955. She worked for St. Ann's Hospital and the telephone company in Billings. She then moved back to Anaconda and met Raymond G. Peterson. She then started her most cherished career of babysitting and raising her family and grandkids. They were married in 1959 and enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage together. In 1984, they started their own electrical business, which is still currently ran by the family. She loved to go to all of the grandkids events and very rarely missed one. She loved baking and cooking for the entire family and always welcomed half of the town to share her food. She is survived by her husband Ray, daughters Tammy Duhame (Forest McLain) and Susan & Mike VanKirk, and son Ray Jack Peterson. Grandchildren, Michael and Melissa Huotte, Derrick VanKirk, Julia Peterson (John McIntosh), Bobby Duhame, and Alyssa Peterson. Great grandchildren, Archer and Beau VanKirk, Kassidy, Lindsay, and McKenzy Trainor. Brothers, Mickey Weist, Billy (Lisa) Weist, and Joe Weist. Brother-in-law Fred Peterson and sister in-law Juanita Weist. And multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; Sisters Charlie Weist, SallyAnn Weist, Jerry and Jim McElroy. Brother Daniel Weist. Sister in-laws Joan Peterson and Jane Weist. Father in law Charles Peterson and Mother in Law Viola Peterson and Brother in law, Kenny Peterson. The Peterson family would like to give a special thanks to CHA hospice care and all of the nurses and doctors at Community Hospital of Anaconda that took such good care of her. There were many people that treated Eddie Jo so well.
