Josephine "Josie" Colvin

Josephine "Josie" Colvin, 81, of Anaconda, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, surrounded by her loving family at St. Patrick Hospital, in Missoula. Josie was born on August 29, 1932, in Anaconda to Winko and Mary Sedminik. Josie lived a great life, traveling throughout the United States and abroad. She was very devoted to her family and faith. She volunteered her time, whether it be teaching R.E. Classes to children, working in hospitals or just helping anybody in anyway. Her passions and interests were long and varied including, reading, music, painting, sewing and crafting anything and everything just to mention a few. Mom was kind, wonderful and extremely well-liked. She will be loved and remembered always. Josie is survived by her son, Stephen D. Colvin, daughters, Carol A. Colvin and Sharon L. Perkins; 4 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eddie Sedminik and Charlie Sedminik and many nieces, nephews and friends. Josie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack K. Colvin and her son Richard K. Colvin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Anaconda. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at the Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Chapel, with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. and visitation for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday morning. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
