John Albert Strelnik

John was born on April 3, 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa. He moved to Montana with his mother as a child. He attended and graduated from Anaconda High School in 1948. He married Marian Glenney on December 16, 1950 in Anaconda. John worked as an engineer at the BAP Railroad for 20 year and later in life as a journeyman electrician. Over the years he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, yard work and spending time with his family. John died on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the Granite County Medical Center. John is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marian Strelnik, 5 children, Richard (Linda) Strelnik, Debra (John) Kovacich, Daryl (Jill) Strelnik, Glen (Kathy) Strelnik, David (Jennifer) Strelnik 5 Grandchildren, Jamie Strelnik, Keegan Strelnik, John Kovacich, Ryon Strelnik, Brionna Strelnik. He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Rost and his son Wayne. Private Graveside Family Services will be held.
