John (Jack) Devine gained his wings in the early hours of August 24, 2024 after complications from surgery in Boise, ID.
Jack was born along with his twin brother Jim on May 8, 1951 to Robert and Helen Devine of Anaconda, MT. After a career in the military, Jack started his own auto repair shop and was a part time police officer in Anaconda. He moved to Seattle, WA and spent the bulk of his years as an instructor in auto mechanics at Renton Vo-Tech.
Jack is lovingly survived by his daughter Lisa (Doug) Tuckman of Snohomish, WA, sons Jon (Lija) Devine of Bothell, WA, Jason (Jessica) Devine of Mill Creek, WA, Devin (Juliette) Brown of Lake Stevens, WA and daughter Jacqueline Devine also of WA.
He is also survived by his twin brother Jim (Cathy) Devine, sisters Kathy (Denny) Goodheart, Marilyn (Gary) Ohman, Shelley (Alan) Davison, Gigi (Steve) Murfitt, Judy Devine and Patti Devine.
His grandchildren are Quin Tuckman, Brent (Emily) Devine, Hayley Devine, Charli and Sammi Devine and Andreas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen Devine, his sister Leanne Devine, and Bob (Roscoe) Devine.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held September 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet cemetery, with a luncheon to follow at noon at the VFW.
