Joann Crabtree

JoAnn Winchester Crabtree passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 13th, at the age of 86 after a long illness. Born October 31, 1931 in Rigby, ID, the middle child of seven to parents Ida Grace Lee Winchester and Melvin James Winchester. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Lee, Duane and Jack and sisters Marjorie and Shirley. She also lost her beloved son Gary in 1965 to a tragic accident. JoAnn spent over 45 years as a dedicated nurse touching thousands of lives. She is survived by her children Deborah Reid, Melva Munson, Jo Ellen Paull, Loveta Frank, Mark Crabtree, Francis Gwin and Cheryle Clawson, 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and her brother Ronald Winchester. She mothered, grand mothered and loved countless others. Visitation will be held at the Longfellow Finnegan Riddle Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Anaconda on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Burial will be held at the cemetery in Salmon, Idaho on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.
