Joan F. Stevenson

Joan F. Stevenson, 86, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 at The Community Nursing Home of Anaconda. She was born on June 7, 1933 to Alonzo H. and Myrtle E. (Ryan) Early in Anaconda, MT. In 1952 she graduated from Anaconda High School; after which she met and married Arthur B. Stevenson on June 28, 1956. Joan spent her life as a housewife while Art worked at the Anaconda Smelter. When Art retired from the smelter in 1980, they relocated to Wickenburg, AZ. They enjoyed many years there together and in Joan's words "It was one good ride". After Art passed away April 1990, she returned to Anaconda and lived there until her death. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Betty Seely, nephew Ray Seely, niece Marie Seely Zarend, uncle James and aunt Judy Ryan. She is survived by her cousins Ray, Kevin, Tim, and Ed Ryan. Cremation has taken place. At Joan's request there will be no wake or visitation. A private Interment will take place in the family plot in Mount Olivet Cemetery Anaconda.
