She went to be with her Lord on October 2, 2018. She was a resident at Village Health Care in Missoula for the last several years.
Jackie was the first-born child in Spokane to Jack Burger and Evelyn Doubt Burger on July 13, 1925. She married Camille A. Adams on November 28, 1942. They had seven children. Her husband passed away in 1986.
Jackie worked as a nurse's aide for many years. She and Camille were co-owners of the Midget Bar for many years. They were snowbirds, and, in the summer, they were campground hosts at Minor Lake. They spent their winters in Apache Junction, Arizona until Camille's passing. Jackie then moved to Missouri, Hamilton and Stevensville for a short time. She later returned to Anaconda to be with her children until health prevented her.
Jackie enjoyed camping, needle point and painting. She painted several pictures, did quilt work and needlepoint for her several children. She was a hunter who backpacked into hunting camped and she also like to fly fish in the Big Hole.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren, John and Melinda.
She is survived by her seven children and their spouses, Mary White of Missoula, Larry (Marilyn) Adams of Anaconda, Andre (Bonnie) Adams of Challis, ID, James (Renata) Adams of Killeen, TX, Cathy (Chuck) Jette of Anaconda, Maurice (Judy) Adams of Rainier, OR and Camille Adams Jr. of Anaconda, 15 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Crackerville.
