Henry Thomas Medford Huot

Nov 21, 1953 — Aug 16, 2026

Anaconda

Henry was born on November 21, 1953, to Henry and Virginia (Hanson) Huot in Anaconda, MT. He grew up in the Deer Lodge Valley until his father passed away. He then moved to Anaconda, where he spent most summers being a ranch hand. He also enjoyed playing sports and, in high school, lettered all four years in football and wrestling. He then graduated from Anaconda Senior High School in 1972.

He moved to Wyoming to work in the oil field, where he met his wife, Niki, and her two daughters, Kim and Sheri, whom he helped raise and loved as his own. They later divorced, and he moved back to Anaconda.

Henry was well liked by all and had a personality larger than life. He met Margie, and they had two beautiful daughters, Safron and Sage. Henry became a jack of all trades. He was a cook, ranch hand, worked with AWARE as a HAB Tech, and ran his own fruit business. But the job he loved most was being a dad. He loved taking them to their sporting events, ice fishing, camping, going together to get fruit each year. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved hunting, golfing, fishing, music, dancing, singing, cooking, drawing, and tie-dying.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Hank and Ginny; his two brothers, Peter (Mickey) and Ernie; his ex-wife, Niki; and stepdaughter Kim; and many of his true lifelong friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Safron, Sage, and Sheri; friend and mother of his girls, Margie; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Roger; his grandchildren, Baylee, Bayzil, Lavinder, Bentlee, and Calvin (Taylor); and two nieces, Sandy and Katie.
