Helen Amelia Lovell

Helen A. Lovell passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019, at her second home, New Horizons. Mom was born in Anaconda, Montana on May 31, 1923. She resided at 314 Alder Street for 94 years. On December 8, 1942, she married her one true love, Lewis D. Lovell. After dad's 3-year service in the U.S. Army, they began their family. Mom and Dad were blessed with 10 children: Doris (Bill) Malone, Tom (Carol) Lovell, Ben (Linda) Lovell, Bob (Sally) Lovell, Mariann (Tom) Matosich, Betty Lou Andrews, Judy (Larry) Williams, Jeanie (Dan) Reardon, Helen (Tim) McKeon, and Connie (Ken) Vieth. Mom was the proud matriarch of the Lovell clan and a diligent supporter of all her kids and grandkids' activities. In addition to her children, Gramma Goose is survived by numerous grandkids and great-grandkids and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, children Tommy and LuLu, sons-in-law Bill and Mato, daughter-in-law Sally, grandson Mark, and great-grandson Nate. Mom spent many years of employment in the retail industry in Anaconda and was a devout member of St. Peter's Catholic Church her entire 95 years. She spent her retirement years enjoying her daily walks and having coffee every morning with her coffee bunch. She loved spending time with her many friends throughout the years. Visitation hours will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17th at Longfellow Funeral Home with a Vigil Service starting at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Friday, January 18th at 10:30 a.m. followed by graveside services at Mt. Olivet cemetery and a luncheon at Holy Family Catholic Church. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the mass at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
