Helen Holmes

Helen (Jacobson) Richardson Holmes was born in Butte on Dec. 27, 1931. Her parents were Bonnie and Jake Jacobson. Helen passed away at her home in Deer Lodge on June 7, 2018 after a lingering illness. Helen loved life! Also, she loved her friends in the Catholic church, her family, the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening and flowers! Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Charles Richardson and Robert Holmes; and brother and sister-in-law, Lyle and Peggy Jacobson. She is survived by her daughters and family, Elaine (Rick) Hawkins, Benton City, Washington, Lynda Chorley, Richmond, Mo.; Sons, Arles (Katie) Richardson, Jake (Robin King), Kennewick, Washington, and Chris Holmes, Deer Lodge; eight grandchildren, Shawn Castleberry, Crystal Petty, Quinn Rehak, Aurora Sobolik, Michele Sobolik, Shawn Beaver Charles Wray and Heather Beaver; eight great-grandchildren, Frankie, Travor, Leichelle, Capri, Relainedy, Alley, Nadia, and Elijha. The Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Alder and Fourth Street.
