"Boots" Harold M. (Courture) Weller October 25, 1942 ~ November 6, 2018 Born to Harold and Bessie (Jewett) Courture in Missoula, MT. He graduated from Butte High School and started his life working as a butcher, miner, logger and over the road truck driver, taking him to various mines throughout the states of Montana, Nevada, Alaska, the east and west coast as well as the Caribbean. On his free time, Boots enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching westerns and Nascar, as well as working on vehicles. Boots was always willing to lend a helping hand. In his early years, Boots married Dolores Halversen. Together they had three kids; David, Dee Dee and Tonya. They later divorced. In that time, he had another son, Shawn Weller. Later, in life, Boots found the love of his life, Sylvia Johnson, spending 17 wonderful years together where they retired in Opportunity, MT, spending time traveling and enjoying not only each other's company but the company of their family and friends as well. Boots was preceded in death by his parents, step-parents, his daughter Dee Dee Weller, his brother Ron Weller, sisters Vickie and Bugs, and his grandson Allan Svejkovsky. He is survived by his wife Sylvia, sons Dave (Helen) Weller and Shawn Weller, daughter Tonya (Ray) Cromwell, grandkids Aimee and Nickolas Weller, Cody and Zach Norbury, Katerina Layman and Amanda Svejkovsky, sisters Carla, Leslei (Gregg) and Laurie Gay, as well as nine beautiful great grandchildren whom he loved playing with. Cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a Celebration of Boots Life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the East Side Club in Butte, MT.
