Elaine F. (Berness) Ellison

Elaine Ellison passed away in Anaconda on January 23, 2022.  Elaine was born in Anaconda on August 16, 1938 to Joseph and Mary (Mihelich) Berness.  She graduated from Anaconda High School in 1956.  She married a Navy man and subsequently moved to various locations throughout the U.S. Upon her return to Anaconda she took up residence in her childhood home built by her father in the West Valley. She was employed by several local businesses throughout her career in the hospitality industry.  Elaine enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and her beloved cat, Muffy.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy Berness.  She is survived by her sister, Aileen Bristow of Anaconda and numerous cousins spread throughout the U.S.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 1st at 10:30 a.m., Holy Family Church, Anaconda.  Interment will take place in the spring at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
