David William Noroian, born David William Holt on December 12, 1944, passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 80. David was born in Visalia, California, to Edith and William Holt. After his father, William, returned from the war, Edith and William divorced. Edith later married Nish Noroian, who adopted David, and he was renamed David Noroian.  David was raised in Blythe, California and spent much of his youth working on Nish Noroian Farms, developing a strong work ethic through agriculture. He was very close with his uncle, who played a significant role in his upbringing and development. Surfing was a beloved activity in free time. In high school, David met his high school sweetheart, Phyllis Tuchfarber, whom he married at the age of 19. Together, they had one son, John. Seeking to carve his own path, David decided to leave farm life and pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions. Though he ventured away from the farm; agriculture and produce sales/ distribution remained a significant part of his work and identity throughout his life.  He loved business and was very good at negotiating with others. After high-school and during college, David joined the Army Reserves and was subsequently drafted into the Vietnam War; rarely speaking of it after returning. His marriage with Phyllis ended, and years later he found love again with Lillian. Their union blessed them with Michael and Rachelle. Their divorce separated him from the children. His travels brought him to Florida. It was Kissimmee where he met his third wife Rebecca Spurway. In Rebecca he had found his best friend and soulmate. They moved to Utah and Their union brought two more children; a stepdaughter Jennifer and a surprise baby Ashleigh when David was 53.  In Salt Lake David found his most beloved job distributing Apples for Mitchell's apple Orchard. Rebecca's dreams later lead them to Anaconda, MT.  In 2002 where they bought a house and passionately renovated/ restored the house making it a home. David worked as the produce manager for Albertson's grocery to fund house projects and in their free time they explored various parts of MT. often traveling on day trips. Becky’s death April 25th of 2007 left him lost for a long time. His fourth and final marriage to Carol Jones kept him company in his older years. He kept his door open to anyone who needed a place to stay as well as a meal and guided them to getting on their feet including several beloved stray dogs. In his final years he watched his youngest daughter get married and welcomed two Granddaughters with the second arriving just two weeks before his departure. His condition suddenly worsened as peripheral artery disease grabbed ahold, leaving David to make a hard decision for himself regarding his care. He decided that the wanted his way, whole with the help of comfort care. His final days were spent in the comfort of his own home with beloved dachshund Lilly, hid last child returning home, small children's laughter, favorite music and fresh coffee. As he spoke with family about the future; expressing concerns, giving advice and saying goodbye. He reflected on his life and said "80 years... hell I won't ask for any change back." David is proceeded in death by his mother; Edith Noroian, step father; Nish Noroian, and wife; Rebecca Noroian having joined her exactly 18 years later. He is survived by spouse Carol Jones- Noroian Daughters: Rachelle, Jennifer, and Heather Ashleigh Sons: John & Michael Grandchildren; Natalie, John Jr. Kate, Daniel, Olivia and Ivy Mae.
