Danny was raised by his parents until 8th grade, and then he left to live with his Uncle Don and Aunt Linda Anderson to pursue his passion for rodeo.  During his teenage years he was successful in saddle bronc and bull riding making it to the high school and college National Finals. As an adult he was successful in Rodeo as well, making it to the NRA Finals and qualifying in bull riding for the World Finals.
