Calvin Lewis Coty

January 5, 1930 — September 26, 2015

We celebrate the life of Calvin Lewis Coty, passing to rejoin his parents and a brother on September 26th, 2015. Born to Milton and Mae Coty on January 5th, 1930 in Helena, Montana where he was raised and graduated from Helena High School in 1948. He joined the United States Navy right out of high school and served until June of 1952. He earned the Korean Service Medal and United Nations Service Medal. Calvin returned home and married Betty Waite and they had three children; Michael, Sharon and Alan. This marriage ended and he married Phyllis Eccleston Koski in Helena in 1974. Phyllis had two children; Jeri and Kory. They brought their families together. Both worked for the State of Montana and were transferred to Butte, Montana. They lived in Ramsay until their retirements in 1995 when they built their retirement home at Georgetown Lake. Calvin was and is loved by many and known as a caregiver. He had two brothers; his older brother Milton, Jr. who resides in Helena, Montana and his younger brother Burt who lived in Dallas, Texas until his passing. Calvin has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren all who will miss their grandpa. Dad you are loved and will be missed by us all!!!! There will be a graveside service with Military Honors at New Hill Cemetery on Friday, October 02, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to a social gathering at 1:00 p.m. at the Community Nursing Home of Anaconda.
